What does Total Balance Women's PREMIUM do that the standard Total Balance Women’s version does not?
Total Balance Women's PREMIUM like our standard Total Balance
Women’s contains special female nutrients that help reduce the symptoms
of PMS and menopause...BUT...it goes a lot further in tackling all
causes of aging and helping in the prevention of degenerative disease.
The daily dose for the premium version jumps up to 7 tablets per day
against 4 tablets for the standard Total Balance Women's. These
additional tablets contain bio-actives that address the important issue
of DNA repair along with free radicals, glycation, methylation and
inflammation.
What difference will I feel?
This varies for each individual. If you currently suffer from
hot flashes or PMS symptoms you may experience a reduction in these
almost immediately. On the other hand it may take time for the
benefits to build up...perhaps 2 - 3 months.
You are also likely to feel an increase in energy and an improved sense of wellbeing.
Some people who are in good health may not feel
any difference because the changes are so subtle and can sometimes only
be detected some months later if they discontinue the supplement.
For example, they may go through a winter and then
realise that they have not had the usual cold, or caught the flu whilst
others around them suffered .
Irrespective of the direct effects that you may or may
not feel you can have peace of mind knowing that you are feeding
essential nutrients to your organs which will help keep your body
healthy and slow down the aging process.
Why is the Vitamin E Dosage in the Total
Balance only 100 IU (50 mg) instead of the higher amounts which are in
some other supplements?
For long-term use 100IU is the safest dose level. Because
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin it is important not to ingest high
levels on a regular basis. The amounts of Vitamin E that we use are
still within the clinically proven beneficial range. It should be
noted that we only use the natural form of Vitamin E which has greater
benefits than synthetic Vitamin E.
Additionally, we also use a broad spectrum Tocotrienol
which is another form of Vitamin E. This significantly improves the
potency of Vitamin E.
Is it possible that I could feel any bad effects after I start taking Total Balance?
It is possible, but unlikely. Depending upon the state of
your health you may experience symptoms such as nausea or headaches
over the first few days. This can occur if you have high levels of
toxins in your body. Total Balance helps to activate your system to get
rid of them, sometimes resulting in these mild temporary side effects.
If you experience this we recommend that you reduce the dose rate until
they pass. Also make sure that you drink plenty of pure water to help
flush your system.
Can Total Balance Women's PREMIUM be taken while pregnant or nursing?
While Total Balance Women's PREMIUM is safe to take in the
preconception stage, once you know you are pregnant it is best to stop
taking it. We are not able to recommend any of our supplements, other
than our Omega 3/DHA Fish Oil, to women who are pregnant or nursing.
If you are in this situation and wish to take this product please
consult your personal physician before use.
I have a problem with depression. Is it likely that I will notice a difference?
Yes, it is very likely that you will. The neuro nutrients included in
the formula have been shown in multiple clinical studies to be of
considerable benefit to people suffering from depression and stress.
SAMe in particular is helpful as it enhances the activity of serotonin.
Will Total Balance Women’s PREMIUM interfere with prescription medications?
As with all supplements caution must be applied if you are on
medications of any sort. Total Balance contains ingredients like
Gingko Biloba which help thin the blood, although the amounts are
generally within tolerable limits for those people on medication, but
nonetheless, if you are on blood thinning medication this has to be
taken into account.
If you are using prescription drugs please let your
health professional know that you are using this product. It is very
rare that they will object, but play it safe and let them know.
I am a highly allergic person, especially to shrimp and other shell fish… Will Total Balance Women's PREMIUM affect me?
Unfortunately, our Total Balance range, including Women's
PREMIUM, contains N-Acetyl Glucosamine, which is made from crab shell.
Because it is refined and only in a very small quantity it is unlikely
to be a problem but you should be aware of it and proceed with caution
by only taking one tablet per day to start off with and then building
up your daily dose gradually.
I am taking Estraderm (estradiol) as prescribed by my GP. Is it safe to take Total Balance Women’s PREMIUM with this?
Total Balance Women’s PREMIUM is safe to take with HRT.
However, as with all medications you should discuss taking this
supplement with your physician. We recommend leaving a 3–4 hour gap
between taking any prescription medications and taking your
supplementation.
I suffer terribly from menopausal symptoms, will I notice a difference?
Yes, it is very possible you will notice quite a difference.
Total Balance Women’s PREMIUM contains ingredients like Dong Quai, Red
Clover, Wild Yam, FeverFew and Chaste Berry extracts in specific
dosages. In combination with other vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino
acids, co-factors and other specialty nutrients it may help to reduce
and alleviate such symptoms.
I am taking other nutritional supplements and natural medications. Is this OK?
Generally yes, but it is usually unnecessary and doesn't make economic
sense unless you have been diagnosed with a specific deficiency. There
are risks associated with taking high doses of certain vitamins and
minerals, e.g. high doses of Vitamin C can actually contribute to the
production of free radicals.
Sometimes it is practical to combine Total Balance with
one of the other Xtend-Life products. In all cases you should try to
combine Total Balance with our Omega 3/DHA Fish Oil.
If you are in doubt please contact us for further
advice.
What else can I do to help myself?
To reach optimum health it is always important to combine a generally
healthy lifestyle with any supplement regime. Even moderate exercise,
is proven beneficial to our immune system, heart, muscles, circulation,
joints and reproductive system. A healthy and balanced diet of
complete vitamins, minerals, essential enzymes, amino acids and trace
elements is also essential and will help to keep your heart healthy and
optimize your overall health.
