L-Lysine HCL

Lysine is part of a protocol for the treatment and prevention of coronary heart disease. Lipoprotein(a) is an altered form of LDL cholesterol was found to be a key component in blood clots, plaque formation and coronary heart disease. If you have more than 20mg/dI in your blood it begins depositing plaques and atherosclerosis. Lysine is one of the twenty amino acids that binds to lipoprotein A, in competition with the lysyl residues on the wall of the artery, helping to prevent the lipoprotein A from being deposited and even working to pull it loose enabling to be destroyed.
