Question: From John. (Subject: Calcium, magnesium ratios...)q1
I would like to know the calcium to magnesium ratio in your coral calcium.
Is any form of magnesium added to your coral calcium product and if so what form?
Answer: From Nicolien.
There is no added magnesium in the product. However, there is a reasonable amount present naturally as a part of the 'coral calcium'. The ratio is about 1 part of elemental magnesium to 30 parts of elemental calcium. This is the natural ratio. The coral calcium products that have a 2:1 ratio have had magnesium oxide added. It is not natural as they claim. You can refer to the ratios through the Certificate of Analysis of the coral calcium itself by clicking here.
But, remember that that the coral calcium only makes up about 25% of our product. The rest is high density green and red phytonutrients which are naturally rich in magnesium. However, we have not done an analysis of the exact amount of magnesium present as it is only one of the minerals present in the phytonutrients, so I am sorry but I cannot give you specific figures on this.

Question: From Ada. (Subject: Osteopenia...)q2
A bone scan revealed that I have osteopenia. Do you have a product which will improve this condition? I am also postmenopausal.
Answer: From Nicolien.
Regarding osteopenia, you may benefit from our Total Balance (TB) Women's Plus. TB Women's Plus contains a herbal blend for women, helpful in and after menopause and in osteoporosis or osteopenia. It also contains many other specialized ingredients which help 'balance' nutrients in your body and reduce the 'leaching' of the calcium from your bones. If you would like to have a look at the ingredients of Total Balance you will better understand how it could help you. Please click here.
Our Coral Calcium with Phytonutrients is especially helpful in osteopenia. We get many positive comments from customers who have had bone scans after taking the product for some time, and have had very good results, particularly when combining it with Total Balance. You can find some of these comments by clicking here.

Question: From Michelle. (Subject: Libido support...)q3
I had a hysterectomy at age 45. I seem to be loosing muscle strength and need some support for my libido. Do you have any products or ideas for me?
Answer: From Nicolien.
I am sure that you will find Total Balance (TB) Women's plus to be beneficial to you, as it helps to balance our overall health and also helps to address women's problems around menstruation and menopause, or such as in your case after a hysterectomy. As a result of the balanced nutrients that it contains I would expect it to help your libido…but don't expect it to happen overnight. For more info on this please click here.
Secondly I would like to recommend 2 capsules of omega 3/DHA fish oil daily, as fish oil lowers the risk of cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and will help with your overall health with consequential benefits to your libido. For more info.
As a point of interest Michelle, we will soon be releasing a special woman's product that will be applicable for women of all ages and can be taken as an adjuvant to Total Balance (Unisex). This product which we are in the final development stage of will address PMS, period pain, headaches associated with menstruation, and as a side benefit it will have a direct and positive impact on libido.
