I have been under medication with "Eptoin" for past 15 years.

Our Total Balance may help you to replenish nutritional deficiencies which could be contributing to low sperm counts. It contains many valuable anti-oxidants and nutrients beneficial for general health. It also contains specific nutrients, such as vitamin C, zinc, L-arginine, acetyl L-carnitine, selenium, vitamin B12, vitamin E and many other specialty ingredients that can help to improve your sperm count. SAMe is also believed to help improve sperm count. (This is an ingredient of our Neurological Formula and Arthrit-Eze.) To read more about SAMe, please click here.

Question: From Raj. (Subject: CoQ10...)q2

I am a heart patient and undergone angioplasty with three stents inserted in year 2002 I am on Lipitor 10mg, Herbesser and Cardiprin.

Lately I started taking Staywell Q10 (american product) at my own expense which is quite expensive and was told that it pumps blood to my heart I am really confused and I need to survive?

Answer: From Nicolien.

It is vitally important that you keep using the CoQ10 for as long as you are on a statin drug. These drugs deplete the body's ability to produce CoQ10 which is crucial for cardiac health.

I am aware that you read Warren's article on CoQ10 last week, but may I suggest that you go back to it and specifically go to the link which takes you to the study on the statin/CoQ10. This has a number of actual cases that you can read about and will help you gain a much better understanding of the role that CoQ10 plays. You can find the article by going to our website and clicking on the newsletter archives.

If you continue taking Lipitor, then you must either continue with the CoQ10 supplement or replace it with the full dose of 6 tablets a day of Xtend-Life Total Balance. Total Balance will provide your body with the precursors to help replenish your CoQ10.

You could also consider adding our natural cholesterol formula and in conjunction with your Physician, phase out the statin drug. This product has multiple actions in lowering cholesterol and does not rely entirely on blocking the enzyme that not only produces Cholesterol but also CoQ10 as well. For more info on this, please click here.

If you decide to try our cholesterol formula let me know so I can make some suggestions as to how to best phase out the statin drug. You can then discuss this with your physician.
