Today, 7/1/05, the U.S. dollar has gained strength again against both the euro and the NZ dollar. Your currency continues to fall with the Euro.
Your prices are fine. I have no problem with them as I am a satisfied customer. I just felt that I should raise this issue as you mentioned it in your last newsletter Xtend-Your-Life.

Indeed you are right Bob, the rates have moved in our favour over the last few days, and we are all breathing a sigh of relief... may it continue.
However, it has a long way to go before we get back to the point when we first priced our products some years ago. To help better explain the situation we have posted up a couple of graphs that are easy to follow and show an interesting 'story' and trend. Please have a look by clicking here.

Question: From Loretta. (Subject: Diverticulosis...)q2
One of my neighbours has been having a horrendous time with diverticulitis. I told her how I came to start ordering from you BECAUSE of my diverticulitis and low immune system. Because of this and after getting cold after cold, and eventually pneumonia which caused me to become so weak, I actually passed out and fell on my head.
I was at a loss as to what to do until I saw the advertisement for your supplements. The rest is history. While I did not have much luck with the old cholesterol formula, I have had much success with the Total Balance and "the" diverticulosis.
My neighbour and her sister will be contacting you and I hope you will answer her questions.
Today I received this month's order and my first arthritis formula. This is my last resort for help with the arthritis, as well, so please wish me success. I've had so much swelling from rheumatoid arthritis and problems with osteoarthritis... Actually, I'm hoping for a tiny miracle and I hope this will be it.

Question: From Susan. (Subject: Goldenseal...)q3
Please tell me if Xtend-Life Total Balance is considered a Goldenseal root product. I am looking for this type of product. Yours sounds great.
Answer: From Nicolien.
We do not include goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis), in our Total Balance (TB).
However, we do include a number of other herbs which have similar or superior actions. The main active ingredient in goldenseal is berberine which promotes digestion, is anti-microbial and enhances the immune system.
Mahonia grape is one of the best extracts to get this active ingredient. We include it in Total Balance.

It is not a very common herb in supplements primarily because it is quite a bit more expensive than most other types.

I am very pleased with the results of taking the Arthrit-Eze for my first month (along with some of the other supplements you sell). For years I have had considerable pain in my hip joints, but testing showed no degeneration of my hips and no arthritis. Eventually it was found that my lower back was the problem and was also causing pain in the hip joints. Even after physical therapy and continuing those exercises at home for the last two years, I was still plagued with daily pain.
In comes Arthrit-Eze! I decided to try it last month for the first time.
The deep aching in my hips and bones has lessened markedly. There are some days that I feel so good! I have also started exercising more because I feel better. Though I am not pain-free, there is a big difference in the pain level I experience. I shall continue to use Arthrit-Eze and look forward to even better results in the near future. (Because of my results, I have convinced my mother, who does have arthritis, to give your product a try.)
