I am one of your customers and was just wondering where you fall on the 'Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements' by Lyle Mac William?
It's a book that is published every so often that ranks all Supplements out there (mainly USA and Canada) ... It would be so awesome if you guys were in it considering that out of 2000 participants only 500 make the cut (although many of them at a very low rank still).
To give an example USANA is the top with a rank of 96.1 compare to Centrum with 3.2. I would love to see you guys in there since I think you would rank pretty high...

Yes... the 'Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements' by Lyle Mac William.
You are right, USANA ranks very well in this Guide, which has created quite some controversy in the industry. I won't venture an opinion on this guide unless of course they do a comparision with our Total Balance and rank it below USANA... then I will have plenty to say :)
Malelucca was one of the companies that were upset by this guide and they prepared a detailed report giving their views on it. That report can be reviewed by clicking here.

Question: From Frank. (Subject: Naturebee...)q2
I am currently taking 6 x Total Balance as well as 2 Naturebee caps. Please comment on any difference between your pollen formula and that of Naturebee (a NZ company) including cost ie value for money. I realise you will be biased but I know that, based on previous experience, your comments will be fair and balanced.

Naturebee have been around for quite a long time.
They supply a bee pollen which has gone through an explosive decompression system which they call 'potentiation'. The principle is to crack the hard outer shell of the bee pollen granule to enable the digestive juices to access the inner goodness of the bee pollen granules. Generally a high proportion of the 'normal' bee pollen granules pass through the digestive tract undigested.
We considered producing an identical product some years ago but decided against it primarily for one major reason. That is, after the cells are cracked the pollen is subject to rapid degradation due to oxidation. The degree that impacts on the efficacy of the bee pollen is unknown. But there is a big question mark.
We decided on a different approach. We take the bee pollen and mill the pollen to a fine powder. Immediately before any oxidation can take place we implement a special blending protocol which provides for the mixing of 5 specific enzymes which 'react' with the active ingredients of the bee pollen over a period. This mix is then stored in an airtight container for 5 days then blended with a mix of other amino acids and other actives to produce our Natural Energy formula.
We believe that this protocol results in a much more bio-active and potent product. It certainly costs much more to produce.
Can we prove that it is better than 'potentiated' bee pollen? No... because there have never been any clinical comparative studies carried out, so our belief is based on the knowledge of the interaction of the active ingredients... but... as I said... we have no proof.

Question: From Gary. (Subject: My Thanks...)q3
Hello all at Xtend-Life. I just have to tell you my latest Cholesterol reading which last year was 8.2mmol/L but now, to my doctor's disbelief, is 5.3mmol/L. My Triglyceride level is 2.00. I was so worried about the need to go on drugs but not now! I haven't even started a proper exercise program yet so I expect the numbers to go down even more! I feel it's so very important for me to let your present and future customers know that your products really do work.

Thank you so much for writing. That is a significant reduction. You are fortunately one of those people for whom the natural approach is very effective. Although this is the case for most people, you probably know from Warrens article last week, not everyone gets such good results.
I am delighted that it worked for you. Don't forget that you can now start phasing out the Cholesterol formula. Now you have got your levels back to where you want them it may be worth considering a maintenance program with just the Total Balance and our Omega 3. This will help maintain your current levels plus do some really good things for your organs and overall health and help slow down any degeneration.
